About us
We administer The Norwegian Register for Scientific Journals, Series and Publishers from the headquarters of the Directorate for Higher Education and Skills in Bergen.
Lena-Cecilie is the day-to-day manager of the Norwegian Register.
The National Board of Scholarly Publishing assist by giving advice on scientific publication and officially deciding the levels.
The national scientific panels nominates publication channels for level 2. We do often consult the scientific panels about publication channels at level 1 if we find it difficult evaluate.
We also have great use of the scientific community that gives us feedback and correct information on publication channels. It helps us keeping the Norwegian Register up to date and in making sure that the approved publication channels are of good academic quality.
